Pesky moles making a minefield of your lawn? Scare them away with a friendly mole recruit of your own! Pop him in a pot and see the wild moles run for the hills. To be fair though, he might end up inviting them in for tea (just look at that face!).

Whatever the moles get up to, you’ll get to spend 3 hours learning to capture the likeness of a funny little mole, while enjoying the delights of making things from mud. Wildlife artist Liz McLelland will guide you step by step through the process as you learn wildlife observation skills and hand-building techniques that will breathe life into the clay.

Liz will take your finished mole back to her home kiln to bisque (first) fire and then glaze and 2nd fire for you ready to collect around 6 weeks later. 

Liz’s guided step-by-step workshops are designed to teach you core clay sculpting skills that can be applied to other hand building projects should the clay bug bite! This session will help you develop your wildlife observation skills and learn how to apply these to capture the likeness of an animal in 3 dimensions.
